To make it even more interesting, we are making a very special video which is dedicated to every one of you. But! We really NEED your help on this! This video will be a presentation of all your photos, and since this is YOUR prom, here is what you MUST do! :p

1) Please send in your friend's embarrassing photos (your identity will NOT be revealed) and any photos you have within the college compound. Be it taken during food sales, club activities, just anything! Do share you and your friends' photos with all of us during the prom night! :D

Awards..We Want Your Votes!

What's a Hollywood-based prom without some awards to be given out on the night? We've come up with a number of categories which should tickle your funny bones! Ladies & gentlemen, we need your votes to help determine the winners of the following :

1. Most likely to go home and study after prom.
2. Most likely to forget what happened on prom night the next morning.
3. Most likely to start dancing and get the party started.
4. Most likely to finish all the food at the buffet.
5. The couple most likely to 'leave prom together'.
6. Prom King & Prom Queen.

What To Wear

The theme for Strass Et Paillette is Hollywood.

But quite frankly, we don't want you to wear the usual red carpet premiere/Oscar dresses or suits for that night. We don't want to determine a specific Hollywood red carpet look for you.

Strass Et Paillette is not your usual prom.

We want you to be different to prom.

With ever changing fashion trends and fads in the world today, our Hollywood theme can be defined in your own terms and to fit in to your personality.

So say goodbye to the usual boring dresses, suits and hairstyle.. we want variety!

We want you to wear a Hollywood you to Strass Et Paillette.

We encourage diversity, creativity, customizations, uniqueness.

Early Bird Til The 23rd; Free GSC Movie Vouchers!

Remember how we said the early bird prices for the tickets are until this Wednesday, which is October 21st?

Well, since we the committee behind Strass Et Paillettes are really nice,

We've decided that early bird ticket prices will be extended until October 23rd!

Ticket prices are now as following :

Early Bird Ticket Prices ( Before/On October 23 ) :

Individual : RM 100

Per Table of 10 : RM 950

After October 23:

Individual : RM 120

Per Table of 10 : RM 1200

At the door : RM 150

How To Get There

Well, as the title says, I shall explain the few ways you can get to Impiana KLCC. For those of youse who attended last year's prom, I'm pretty sure you remember how you got there, but I shall say it anywayz.

For those who do not know, Impiana KLCC is located at Jalan Pinang, and is right opposite the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (which in turn, is located about 5-10 mins walk from Petronas Twin Towers)

Most of youse will be driving there and a Google Map is provided at the end of this post. Car parking rates at Impiana itself is RM 6 flat rate but the only problem is that the ramps at the car park is a tad bit narrow and those driving big cars might find it difficult to park at Impiana. There's is also a car park opposite the back of Impiana and it's also RM 6 flat rate. It's right across the road so it shouldn't be a problem.

Those who wont be driving can take the LRT and stop at KLCC station and walk from there to Impiana. But then again, nobody is going to take the LRT in the suits and dresses so carpool you shall. Make arrangements with your friends and get there together. It saves money and conserves the environment (a little goes a long way).

Strass Et Pailletes : Details & More

Ladies & Gentlemen, the Student Councils of the American Degree Program & Bachelor of Communications proudly brings to you, Strass Et Paillettes, the first ever combined Adp & Bcomm Annual Ball, 2009.

This Hollywood styled red carpet affair premiers on the 6th of November 2009, at the Impiana KLCC Hotel & Spa, Jalan Pinang (off Jalan P Ramlee). The glamour starts at 6:30pm.

Tickets will be sold everyday at Level 1 KPD Block E. Ticket prices are as following:

Early Bird Ticket Prices ( Before/On October 21* ) :

Individual : RM 100

Per Table of 10 : RM 950

After October 21*:

Individual : RM 120

Per Table of 10 : RM 1200

At the door : RM 150

So it works like this :

On October 21* or before that, if you buy a ticket individually it`ll be RM100. Grab a bunch of friends to fill up a table of 10, then its RM950 for the whole table, which is Rm95 a person. So why not buy a table instead?

After October 21*, ticket prices are RM120 individually. So even if you buy a table (RM1200) its still RM120 a person. So why wait?

And if you buy a ticket at the door on the night itself, then its RM150. Even more reason to buy early!
